Vertu Accent $4000 Luxury Mobile Phone

In 2002, Verty introduced the Signature, a $20,000 platinum finished luxury phone that matches your Bentley.  In case you’d like to pair a luxury phone with your sporting attire, Vertu has now launched a sporty leather and liquid metal mobile phone priced at $3,850.  The phone is designed and marked like a race car.  Check out the description from Vertu’s brochure:
"V E R T U – B O R N F R O M O B S E S S I O N
Vertu was born from an obsession to create a personal communication instrument that deployed craftsmanship and technology in a way that had never been achieved before.
They took the finest materials from the world of watchmaking, automotive, aeronautics and jewellery. They then made them even better, to come up to Vertu’s exacting standards.

Inspired by the design of classic sports cars, the Vertu Ascent is as tough as it is elegant. Twice as many hours went into the research and development of the Vertu Ascent than goes into
a modern Formula One racing car.
The Liquidmetal® chassis is flexed under 55 kilograms of pressure to check for elasticity and ‘return to form’ in the event of it being dropped.
Specially developed silicone mouldings under the leather at each corner protect against wear and tear. The leather is tested for its resistance to everything from petrol to lipstick.
Each key is micro perforated by laser – over 575 holes are drilled in a single keypad, to create the effect of light shining through solid steel. In fact, every component in a Vertu Ascent is crafted for performance.
