LG Mobile Concept stores open in key areas nationwide

In line with LG’s overwhelming global success, LG Electronics Philippines is extending its reach and strengthening its position as a top-tier mobile phone manufacturer in the country. The company will be opening its first set of LG Mobile Concept stores in prominent malls across the country. The first stores to open officially can be found in the Cyberzone areas of SM Annex North EDSA in Quezon City and SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City. Additionally, LG mobile phones are showcased in the company’s first and newly opened concept store, located in Robinsons Galleria in Ortigas. Investments are also underway in other areas in the coming months, as LG plans to reach out to its discerning consumers in Visayas and Mindanao. In the stores, customers can get a firsthand look at LG’s current handset lineup and a chance to take a peek at upcoming models. Each of the handsets is designed to fit different needs and the interface is tailored to help users get the most out of each unit. "We are aggressively making our presence felt in the local market with the opening of our new free-standing stores,” said Raymond Hernandez, corporate marketing head of LG Electronics Philippines. Our new stores allow us to engage with and serve more mobile phone consumers, who are always on the lookout for stylish and technologically-advanced products." With the opening of the mobile concept stores, LG Electronics is confident that it will gain increased market share as it continues to make its presence felt to more consumers all over the country. LG Electronics has posted record-high global sales earnings and operating profit for the second quarter this year. In particular, its Mobile Communications division has posted $3.981 billion in sales, a 25.8 percent increase compared to the previous year. The division’s operating profit rose to $422 million. Further bolstering this positive news is a 29.9 percent year-over-year increase in handset sales.
