Nokia 6760 Slide Review

The Surge, originally an AT&T-branded handset in the US, is making its way to Asia this quarter as the 6760 slide. The Nokia 6760 Slide has camera with high resolution 3.2MP, while the nokia Surge phone is 2MP. Targeted at users who are active on social networking portals, the S60 device comes with a 2.4-inch QVGA display, 3.2-megapixel camera and a physical slide-out QWERTY keyboard. Wireless connectivity options are aplenty with quad-band GSM, 3.6Mbps HSDPA, Assisted-GPS and Bluetooth stereo A2DP, although Wi-Fi support is noticeably missing. Ovi Maps 3.0 is also preinstalled, along with instant messaging applications such as Ovi Chat, Windows Live Messenger and Google Talk. No word on pricing, yet, although the black 6760 slide will make it to market first, followed by red and white versions later in Q4.
